Wonderful Image of Saturn. I have an LX200 GPS 14" and the LPI. I was wondering what else you used to get the sharpness of that image. A 2x barlow or
tele-extender is on its way, so that I can get closer images. Is there anything that you can tell me that will help me get a closer and great image, like the one that you have? The images of Saturn that I have taken are not this colorful. They are just a brownish color. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin Smith

Hi Kevin, Sorry it has taken so long to respond. The key is good seeing and stacking many images on top of each other to get a deeper more colorful result. Focus is also crucial. Take you time with focus, etc. A barlow may not always help becasue while magnifying the object, it also magnifies the bad seeing if any. Good luck and please post you results.
Clear Skies,
Dave
