all bad :-(
But after the eclips I tried my Meade LPI again. After
processing and
stacking the images, I noticed that (by acident) I covered
almost the whole
moon. Took some work, but here is my first Lunar mosaic :-)
It's build out
of 9 images, each image around 50 frames stacked. Not perfect
but I am
satisfied with it :-)

Bynostar 130-900 Newton, Meade LPI
Lunar mosaic
<media:text type="html">

Lunar mosaic
Well, no lunar eclips images from me ... somehow all images on my camera are

Used the Autostar Suite and think it rocks. Was a bit disappointed about the image size but afterwards I am sattisfied with the result. Taken with a 130-900 Newton f:7, bad seeing and not totally clear skies. Stacked around 30 images. Tried my Barlow 2x but the Barlow came as stock with my telescope and is not high quality. So planetary imaging with the LPI is not that good with my scoop ... but for the moon I think it rocks.

Menno Jansen
The Netherlands
First light LPI: Saturn
<media:text type="html">

First light LPI: Saturn
Well, first posting here and first light for my Meade LPI.
