Galaxy NGC 7479 or Caldwell 44 (barred spiral in Pegasus) shot Aug 27/28 2006 with a DSI Pro II on a C8NGT (8" Newtonian f5). Although this is a small galaxy, it is bright and nearly face on so it makes for a nice target. The subframes were a combination of 60 and 90 sec. Total time L:R:G:B ( in min)= 64:21:25:29. Captured with Envisage, calibrated and sigma combined in Iris with other processing using PixInsight and Photoshop CS.
