M92

M92 (NGC 6341), globular cluster type IV, in Hercules.  Taken May 16, 2008 with a DSI Pro II and Outback Cooler, on a C8NGT (8" Newtonian f5) and an ASGT mount.   RGB subframes were 1 minute resulting in the following total exposures R:G:B (min) = 56:57:56 (min).  Color balance was achieved via numerically scaled channels.  The RGB channels were also used to create a synthetic Luminosity channel for processing.  Captured with Envisage, calibrated and sigma combined in Iris with other processing using FITZ, PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS.    North is up.
