Hickson 44 (Arp 316)

Hickson 44 (Arp 316), galaxy group in Leo, with NGC 3185 (Sba), NGC 3187 (SBc/P), NGC 3190 (Sa), and NGC 3193 (E2).  Taken Feb 8, Feb 10 and Feb 11, 2008 with a DSI Pro II and Outback Cooler on a C8NGT (8" f5 Newtonian) and an ASGT mount.   LRGB subframes were 3 minutes resulting in the following total exposures L:R:G:B (min) = 264:60:72:72.  Color balance was achieved via numerically scaled channels.  Captured with Envisage, calibrated and sigma combined in Iris with other processing using FITZ, PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS.    North is up.
