The Horsehead Nebulae
This is my first attempt on December 23, 2006 at the Horsehead Nebuale using my 14.5", F=5.59, Newtonian for imaging 30 second subs with my Meade DSI Pro II in luminance only and combining 81 of them for this final image (40.5 minutes total exposure). I used my piggybacked 5.0", F-5.0, Newtoniann for guiding with a Meade DSI Pro I through Envisage.
Post processing was: aligning and combining in Meade's ASIP with further tweaks in curves and levels done in PSCS2.
