The stars that make Albireo are, about 380 light years away. Waxing romantic, astronomers
have called the pair topaz and sapphire.  With a separation of 34 seconds of arc, the pair is easily seen at low telescopic power.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Equipment: LX90 8" SCT Alt/Az @f/20, Meade DSI Color camera, Baadar IR/UV Cut fileter, exposure 75 x .25s, gain=100/offset=50.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Post-processing: Raw Fits files debayered and color split using Fitz, De-rotation &amp;amp;
color combined in Autostar Image Processing. Fits images loaded in
Photoshop CS with Fits Liberator.
