Saturn w/Tital, Esceladus &amp; Mimas CDIP Img.16

Object name / Catalog Number: Saturn with 3 of its moons: Titan (Lower right), Esceladus (Upper left) & Mimas (Upper right).

Camera (specific model): DSI-col.1

Number of Exposures & Exposure length: Only 25 exp. due to bad conditions: Windy & thin cloud. (0,250 sec/exp.) Tiff format.

Scope: Model, Aperture and F ratio: Nexstar 8i SE (8") F/10 with X3 Barlow.

Filters used: None

Image Capture Software: Envisage.

Processing software: Stacked and Semiprocessed with Registax 4. Then with Photo Shop CS.

Guide camera/scope (if guided imaging used): None

Other (optional): Saturn was in opposition on this date. 12th. Febr. 2007. Locality: Attard - Malta Eu. Conditions were very limited, thus the small number of exposures.

4) Processing Skills - Yes, although showing some signs of processing artifacts, likely due to low number of exposures. I take off for this on #5, so I won't deduct it twice ;o)
5) Exposure/Depth/Detail - No, however you did a fine job with the limited number of exposures.
6) Technical Bonus - Yes. Saturn is notoriously difficult, and you have processed this very well to bring out the moons in good balance with Saturn. Job well done!
