    Missing Upper Limit Warning

I have a 'Upper Limit' set on my LX200GPS due to a digital camera that will hit the fork at a high angle.   I remember I used to get a warning message on the controller when I tried a GOTO of an object that exceeded the set angle.   Last night I was trying to move to Saturn and the scope just 'froze' and wouldn't move.   There was no message.   This forced me into an unnecessary power down and realignment because I thought I had a 'problem'.   After some experimentation I find the scope is working fine below the limit and the response for something higher is to do just do nothing but no reason is given.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed this.

    Re: Missing Upper Limit Warning

My wireless Autostar II controller just failed for the second time in a year.   Maybe the missing message was a precursor of that.

Of note, Meade now makes you pay shipping both ways even when something is still under warranty.
