how to uplaod images and info to site

Happy 4th July guys. I'm not expecting a quick reply! I uploaded a couple of images of Io transit of Jupiter together with technical details by filling in the add picture menu. The images are there but not the description. What am I doing wrong?

The images were taken with the humble ETX 125, so I was quite pleased with the result considering how low in the sky it is. How do I add technical details in future?

Wow.. thats quite a good image with an ETX125. What Barlow did you use and most importantly, what imager did you use.

I am happy that Jupiter is getting in view now also, since I have just gotten an upgrade to my etx125 and now will be viewing things from my LX200R 12" .

    Hi,

Thanks for the kind comments. The setup I used was a polar aligned ETX125, Orion 2x apo barlow (I also have a Televue 5x Powermate but can count on the fingers of one hand and have 4 left over how many times I can use that!) . I am using an Imaging Source DMK 21AS mono camera with a manual Orion filter wheel and RGB Astronomik filters. The DMK was an upgrade to my Phillips toucam and the sensitivity increase is fantastic. Even with the 5inch ETX and a barlow, it collects enough light for RGB imaging. The software is excellent and I highly recommend a DMK to anyone using a webcam. Roughly 1000 frame avi files for each of R,G and B stacked in Registax and combined in PS CS3.

    Stewart
